"Jane returned to us for 2 weeks to help us with our second daughter, Matilda. After her incredible work with our first, Lucy, it has been very special to have her back with our family.
She has been an invaluable help with helping Lucy to accept her sister and enabling me to keep Lucy’s routine by growing Matilda’s around it and giving me time for Lucy’s outings and activities which I otherwise would have struggled to achieve – this has meant a very content and calm toddler. Jane intuitively understood that this was vital for us and has taken great trouble to bond with Lucy and play with her which was above and beyond her role – but enormously appreciated. Lucy has really enjoyed Janes company.
Her care of Matilda has been nothing short of excellent. This included lots of settling which has taken a long time in the middle of the night as Matilda has been very windy. My breast feeding has been a huge success again – and I credit this to Janes support and determination. I have been able to rest every day which leaves me very well recovered from my C Section and has meant my milk supply has been constant and good.
Jane is extremely hard working, helpful, patient and a great source of advice. Jane has survived on very little sleep but never alludes to how exhausted she must be – she is a consummate professional. Above all, Jane is a pleasure to have with us and we will again miss her very much.
I can’t recommend Jane highly enough as a maternity nurse, she is everything that I could have hoped for and more. Matilda, as Lucy was, is in a routine in just two weeks.
